In Raleigh-Durham, diversity is our chapter’s core strength. Our Tech Divas are from rural and urban backgrounds, and we are proud to include a group of Hispanic students who attend our programs. We have been around long enough that alumni have returned to assist with summer camps, which means we’re poised to grow strong.

Chapter Highlight:

The girls work well together and individually. They are beautiful, strong and intelligent, fun, with a great sense of humor. Before the presentations of our Game Jam workshop, the 7-9 year olds spontaneously chanted “Black Girl Magic,” thrilling everyone in attendance. Several grandparents attended with the girls at this event. They were all eager to learn about coding, and the young students enjoyed teaching them.
