Black Girls CODE & Nike Presents:
Just Hack It: Powering Human Connection
April 23rd - April 25th

We're teaming up with Nike to host a virtual hackathon dubbed--Just Hack It: Powering Human Connection—which will explore the intersection of sports and activism through a digital lens. During the three-day event, our #futuretechbosses will team up to tap into the power of collective innovation and create tech projects that will enable a Nike athlete to build a digital community around an issue they're dedicated to changing. Just Hack It: Powering Human Connection kicks off on April 23rd and is open to girls between the ages 12 to 17 years old. The hackathon is beginner friendly, all coding levels are welcome! The hackathon is SOLD OUT, however you can register for our waitlist.

Black Girls CODE x Accenture Presents:
"The Greenbook" Panel
February 25th 2:30PM PST/ 5:30PM EST

Black Girls CODE is teaming up with Accenture’s Metro DC African American Employee Resource Group (AAERG) to host a panel discussion that will delve into the paths of Black women who work at Accenture.  In celebration of Black History Month, the recollection of their journeys will be inspired by the Greenbook; a guide that helped Black travelers navigate the country during the Jim-Crow era.

Black Girls CODE x Year Up Presents:
Year Up Enrichment Event
March 2nd 4:00PM PST/ 7:00PM EST

Year Up is teaming up with Black Girls CODE  for a virtual enrichment experience where participants will hear from students about what opportunities the Year Up program can bring and learn a professional skill! Year Up is a program for individuals between the ages of 18-26 who are looking to step into the tech industry.

Black Girls CODE x Deque Presents:
Intro to Digital Inclusivity
March 4th 4:00PM PST/ 7:00PM EST

Join us virtually to learn how to make websites that are inclusive for people with disabilities. During the session, the presenters will cover examples of user personas with disabilities, and how to begin designing and coding for digital inclusivity. Attendees will walk away with a foundation for accessibility,  empathy for what it's like to be a user with a disability, and tools and resources for designing and building accessible code.

Black Girls CODE x Salom Presents:
Finding Your Why
March 11th 2:00PM PST/ 5:00PM EST

Join Black Girls CODE  for a conversation with influential members of the Salom team about their career journeys. During this event, we will explore how to identify what you're passionate about, how to take actionable steps towards pursuing your passions and bringing your career goals to fruition. This event is free and open to #techdivas between the ages of 14 to 19. Space is limited. Register today!
